<itunes:summary>Eames Demetrios' DASFilmFest: Weekly webcast films and blog on Design, Architecture, Sustainability, Art and Science</itunes:summary>

<description>Design, Architecture, and Sustainability:
Despite mounting environmental challenges, and despite designers' and architects' ability to answer the challenge of sustainability, there is a gap. By telling different kinds of stories from different angles this site can be a bridge. Many good short movies on these topics don't see the light of day. New technologies invite new ways of seeing them. DAS Film Fest wants to encourage a re-connection with design in the broadest sense.</description>

<title>77 steps (reprise)</title>

<itunes:author>Eames Demetrios</itunes:author>

<itunes:subtitle>The very first film we showed on DASFilmFest was this one: 77 Steps about the Emeco Navy Chair--also known as the 1006; but since it was the first one (and we had barely just launched!), hardly anyone got a chance to see it live on the site. So we are reprising it for just this week.

The film captures the intensive process involved in the crafting the classic chair that you see every where from submarines to CSI, from factory floors to swank Manhattan restaurants. </itunes:subtitle>
